I ‘m Lea, a German living in Stockholm, and I love to bake cakes: wedding cakes (bröllopstårtor), birthday cakes, anniversary cakes and baptism cakes, for example.

I grew up as the daughter of a hobby baker, and in my childhood, there was always the smell of freshly baked cakes in our home. My favourites were Russischer Zupfkuchen, Streuselkuchen, and Donauwelle – classics that my mum baked to perfection. Her recipes became famous among friends and family, and I am grateful she passed them on to me.

I have been baking her recipes ever since I moved out, and over the years – especially after becoming a mum myself – I discovered a new passion: custom-made theme celebration cakes. I have made celebration cakes for friends’ weddings, kids birthdays, school parties, and all kinds of other joyful occasions my family and friends had planned.

I love the creative freedom that comes with buttercream (instead of fondant) – it allows each cake to be both beautiful and delicious. Whether you are celebrating a wedding, birthday, baptism, or anniversary, I would love for you to order the cake from me!

With a background in (food) photography, I am happy to not only bake your cakes but also help style your event and capture it through images. As someone who loves hosting gatherings myself, I would be excited to bring that same energy and creativity to your next celebration.

By the way, Sophie is the third name of my firstborn daughter, and Marie is the third name of my second-born daughter. My little cake business is dedicated to them!
